Position: Centre Manager

Duties: Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of an inclusive school age childcare program currently licensed for 80 children, including leading a unionized staff team of 20. Reported directly to the Board of Directors

1998 - 1999: Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House Vancouver, BC

Duties: Assisted the preschool program on an "on-call" basis

1997 - 1998 Community Health Resource Project Vancouver, BC

Position: Research Assistant through University of British Columbia

Duties: Conducted quality of life interviews with people living with HIV/AIDS in order to assess community resource utilization. Assisted with data entry as required

Girl Guides of Canada - Arbutus District (2000 - Present): Treasurer and Leader of the 25th Sparks

Mount Pleasant Elementary School (2002-03): Member of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) (Member-at-Large)

Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House (1998-1999): Provided childminding services to families in attendance at various programs within the Neighbourhood House Project

Parent North (1991-1992): Assisted ECE certified teachers in caring for children who were the victims of abuse

Prince George Child Development Centre (1987-1992): Assisted ECE certified teachers with children living with Cerebral Palsy and Down’s syndrome and provided respite care to the caregivers of children requiring a variety of extra support.

Industry Training
